Dear Friends,
I’ve decided to expand the offerings on my author-site blog. For now that will simply be an occasional haiku posted on Fridays. Later I may add some essays on writing that don’t really mesh with my long-standing Myricopia blog site.
Along a Dry Ditch
Dead sweetclover stems
Milkweed pods exposing seeds
Winter dormancy
You’ve captured the quiet of winter that often goes unnoticed.

This is wonderful, Eilene. We see these popping up from the snow in our neck of the woods.

Thank you, Dale. I was telling my friend I am not looking at plants in the winter, then I started writing haiku (as she does) and the first one is about plants! And my own winter dormancy, too.
