Unfortunately we are doing poorly here, too. That’s an old photo from my first vegetable garden. The heat is killing everything, even perennials I’ve had for decades. I’m about to just throw up my hands and give up!
Sorry you’re having a bad year. I’ve resigned myself to my perennial beds hoping for better luck next year. I’ve replaced my tomato plants and hoping that the root vegetables will rebound I have used straw this year instead of cedar chips to keep the moisture in and that seems to be helping, but time will tell.
Unfortunately keeping stuff moist isn’t helping here. Things just fry anyway. I may have to realign to living in a desert instead of on the edge of one. 🌵
Wonderful garden gold you have gathered. We had a 15 minute hail storm here. My garden was wiped out.

Unfortunately, adjustments must be made everywhere, I’m thinking.

Yahoo! I have an awesome zucchini bread recipe. My squash plants are barely getting going.
