Once I watched a yellow warbler feeding a huge cowbird chick in its nest. I think when they choose such a small bird to target, the cowbird is the only one to successfully fledge.

Really! Feeding a chick much larger than the adult that’s stuck with it has got to be an awful chore.

Birds are so interesting. I just found out that wrens kill other birds’ eggs. One took over the Chickadee’s nest in our garden.
